Thank you...

Thank you to all those who have served or who are serving our country. I am thankful that I have been able to enjoy the freedoms we have.

Welcome sweet Nelia Shawn Lopez!

Maya had her baby girl last week. I haven't been able to take many pics of her yet but here are those that I was able to take at the hospital. Maya didn't have to push very long so her head is nice and round and she has a sweet little face. She was 5lbs 8oz, 19.5 inches long.

This first pic is 5 seconds after she was born, strong and crying!
She looks like Maya when she is mad!

This is after she is all cleaned up, and happy.
She looks like Shawn when she is happy!
We love her SO much and are looking forward to loving that sweet baby
more and more often!!

Rea lost a tooth!

When her tooth started to wiggle we thought it was a fluke since she is only 4 1/2 and told her to stop touching it. Then a couple days later we saw a "grown-up" tooth coming in behind the wiggly one!She wiggled and wiggled that tooth for weeks and finally, on her own, pulled that tooth out! We are very proud of her. Aaron had to pull both of the boys' first loose tooth for them so all she can talk about is that she "is tougher than the brothers". And she is too!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter!

Reagan realizing there was candy in the egg!

This was the best shot I could get. Bennett had candy in his mouth and the other were starting to get really impatient!

Rocker Rea

"I can do, anything, that I wanna dooooo
I can do, anyyything, that I wanna dooooo
My mom loves meeeee
Everydaaaay!"
(Repeat)

Hands stay on hips, unless fist is being pumped in the air. Hips shake in time to the beat.

That is what you should do if you wanna rock it,
in case you were wondering.

Tigerfest

I just found these photos that I saved to post weeks ago! Yikes. These are from the school carnival. The kids had the time of their lives. Our PTSO presidency (and friends) did a ton of work to make it happen, and it turned out great! There were 7 bouncers and a rock wall and snow-cones and burritos. We were sunburned and exhausted when it was over. Our class booth was the snow-cone and pie-in-the-face, we raised a ton of money for the classes.

Pinewood Derby '09

This was our 3rd Pinewood Derby as a family, my 2nd as a Wolves Den Leader and my 1st time actually participating!
(Not as in racing, as in being there and helping the race happen)

Corban putting his car on the track

Some of our sweet and distracted Cubs.
They just want to race, they don't want to talk about racing!

Aside from not being able to keep a lid on Bennett and Reagan, and being a horrible photographer, we had a great time.
Racing, cupcakes, and cub families, how could we not have a great time?!
