Cheryl's Wedding

I got to go to Cheryl's wedding in Los Angeles!! My awesome sister Maya went with me. We were able to stay at the temple housing on the LA temple grounds. We were literally next door to the temple and we were in our own little apartment. So cool!

Their wedding was in the afternoon. Although I hadn't seen Cheryl in a year (and had never met Jim) I was SO excited. To be able to see the sealing of someone that I care so much about was very special. I am so grateful I was able to be there (thanks Cheryl!)

The reception was in the evening and was beautiful. It was at a stake center but it was no where near average. The building was beautiful and Cheryl did an incredible job of making it her own. Those years setting up high school dances had to come in handy some time! (I am totally kidding, it is not even a comparison!)

Here is a photo of Maya and I with the bride.

Here is a link to the photographer's website. She took a ton of lovely pictures and there are some posted here.

Thanks again Maya for coming with me and allowing me to have the opportunity for such a awesome weekend!

Campout

I am thinking about renaming the whole blog to "Better late than never!" Yikes! I have been bad about updating! Two weeks ago was the ward camp-out. I went to Cheryl's wedding in LA with Maya (story and pics in the following post) and Aaron took the kids camping! From what I heard they had a blast even though it was cold. So much fun in fact, that they hardly took any photos!

Corban was the family photographer, can you tell?(thanks to Ale for the rest of the pics!)

Reagan and Gaby looking sweet...

Bennett and friends having fun...
Kids making some kind of game plan.

We are so lucky that the kids have found so many friends from great families. I really missed out and I hope that the next campout includes me!!

Bennett's Play

Better late than never....

Bennett's class play was last month. They have several 3rd grade classes all together and because his class is a 2/3 grade class he is lumped in with the rest of them. He was able to participate better this year. Instead of getting bored and just looking out in the audience he was overacting in the background. Waving his arms and flopping over in reaction to the lines the big kids had. It was pretty funny. He would actually be a perfect actor if he wanted to be, he sure kept us entertained.

We couldn't get very good pictures from the audience, but there he is...

Happy Birthday Reagan!

The big motivation behind the long trip in the previous post...

Reagan turned 4!!
This year was the first time she was really excited about her birthday. She had been counting down for days but I think that what she was really excited for was the visit from Grandma and Papa. (My dad on the Hog and my mom flew down)

She is getting way too big! I seriously can't believe it. She was such a fat pretty baby ( 9 lbs!) and she is growing into a tall beautiful girl. She is still my baby for now, but I know she won't put up with it too much longer! 'sob'

The Long Way Down

Last week, my husband and my father set out on an adventure...
My dad on his new Harley and Aaron on his old one.
They rode down from my parents' house in Northern California all the way down to Arizona. Here is my dad's rendering of the trip.

They rode for 3 days and had a lot of fun, but when they got here they were tired!
