Pinewood Derby '09

This was our 3rd Pinewood Derby as a family, my 2nd as a Wolves Den Leader and my 1st time actually participating!
(Not as in racing, as in being there and helping the race happen)

Corban putting his car on the track

Some of our sweet and distracted Cubs.
They just want to race, they don't want to talk about racing!

Aside from not being able to keep a lid on Bennett and Reagan, and being a horrible photographer, we had a great time.
Racing, cupcakes, and cub families, how could we not have a great time?!

Swimming in March

Yeah, it's true.
We have already done some swimming this year.
Jealous?

(If you are jealous, come visit us!!)

It was actually too cold for grown-ups, but the kids enjoyed it!

Corb's Play

Corban had his 4th grade musical program at school. He did great! As the kids get older they actually remember their lines and speak clearly! It makes it a lot more entertaining for us parents. We are very proud of him. Corban had a few speaking lines and sang a few solo parts (it was mostly group singing). He seems to be pretty comfortable up on stage.
Maybe he will be an actor before he is a rock star/dentist. Ha.

Planting Flowers

On Saturday we bought Reagan a flowerpot to match the pots the boys have on the windowsill. She asked me several times yesterday and today when there would be dirt in her pot. Apparently she figured she should just go ahead and do it herself. She yanked some of the flowers from the front yard and put them in her pot. She thinks it looks very nice, thank you.

We miss you already...

Thanks for coming to visit mom, we are already missing you again. Poor dad we never got to stop missing you!We always seem to forget group photos. The boys were at school and we were at Maya's on our way to take my mom to the airport so we snuck one in!

Rea is too big!

Sweet girl got a haircut today. She looks way too BIG!
(She hates having her hair combed and it will just be easier with bangs and a shorter length)
(If you can see the kitchen behind her...yes, it has been painted red)

Corban's skills

(This is a post that should have been written a long time ago! Last month our computer and our camera broke!! Not fun! We didn't have access to old pictures and no way to take new ones. This is a pic that I saved on blogger when I started writing the post but I didn't know it was there still. Lucky for me I can still write this post.) This year Corban had mad skills on the soccer field. He is now old enough to make watching the games really fun. He was the "go to guy" for the team, he loved scoring a ton of goals but was willing to play wherever the coach needed him. We are so proud of him and we love to watch him play, we can't wait for the Spring season!!
